Sundaze has been rocking some of the best beach parties the west coast has seen all summer long and with only three events left in the series, you can bet your ass WAve House has got things down to a fine art. If you haven't made it to one yet, make a plan and get to one of these.
No one knows how to party like Steve Aoki! Rifat Ziadeh killed it on the support set getting the crowd moving, but once Steve took the stage, there was no question as to who the crowd was there to see. Starting the set with a screaming barrage of noise, Steve kept the tempo and tension high and then set it off with a frantic bass beat as he sprayed the crowd with champagne! He's known for being an energetic performer but he was in rare form this day. The crowd loved it and the whole house was jumping for his set. My favorite Sundaze performer of the year. He came back the next morning to ride the wave with his friends.
Three of our favorite djs in one night. When you combine beauty and talent, it's always a great event. These ladies killed it during their ménage á trios set. Dj's DeVoy and J-Sin warmed up the crowd along with new comer Tara Brooks. It's always a good time with our friends from Fortune in the house and this event was no exception. Good people, great music, and Mission Beach as the backdrop. It just doesn't get better than this.
Maybe it's the heat, maybe it's the music. It's probably the combo of the two. Whatever it is, people get a little crazy at Sundaze. Inflatable sumo suits? Hell yeah! While the beats built the tempo, a few volunteers got ready to rumble. Wearing a giant balloon isn't the most flattering ensemble but it definitely makes for great entertainment for the rest of the crowd.
