FLOW Tour Finals in Ogden, Utah Announcement

The National Championships of the Wave Loch FLOW Tour are set to take place in Ogden, Utah on August 12-14th. This four day long event kicks off for early arriving competitors on Wednesday the 11th with an optional practice session, followed by a long ride sesh from 5-10pm on Thursday evening. The competition then officially begins on Friday morning and continues on through the awards ceremony scheduled to take place after the finals on Saturday.  There will also be events planned each night to keep the competitors and attendees in good spirits!

The points and money in this final leg of the Flow Tour are worth more than any of the other stops, triple the points, 5x the money and prizes, thereby intensifying the competition all the more. After the riders have given it their all, and the points have been tallied, the US Team for World FlowRider Championships (WFC) will be officially announced.  This team will be made up from the top expert stand up rider, the top stand up female rider and the overall top expert bodyboarder.  These team members receive paid airfare and accommodations to Singapore for the WFC, taking place in late October of this year. The 2010 Wave Loch Flow Tour will have given away over $50,000 in cash, prizes and awards throughout the year, with total purse for A events of $1000, AA were $2500, and the AAA  purse of $5,000 to finalists in the expert divisions.  Also included in the prizes were Flowboards, bodyboards, clothing, glasses, watches and tons of other cool stuff.
