5 minutes with USA National Champion Eric Silverman
We caught up with Eric Silverman in Spain at The Wave House Mallorca. We all know his mad skills on the flow barrel, but we wanted to know a little more about the man. So here it is 5 minutes with the future of FlowBoarding, Eric Silverman.

Q) Age?
A) 19 years young
Q) Career titles?
A) Not really sure I guess Professional Flowboarder…Or professional time waster haha
Q) How long have you been riding?
A) Been riding for 4 years
Q) Favourite move?
A) My favorite strapless move is probly a fingerflip indy or strapless judo 360. Then strapped I love to do a sushi roll or a double cork 1080
Q) Least favourite move?
A) Probably the wall flip that I do at my home wave, WaveHouse San Diego, because I get random people always asking me to do that trick.
Q) Best Flow trip and why?
A) Best Flow trip was probly South Africa 2011 or Mallorca grand Opening with Laz 2012
Q) Worst Flow trip and why?
A) This is a hard one because they were all so much fun…so no bad trips just bad experiences on flights home…Lots of delayed and missed flights…haha
Q) Funniest person in the FlowRider community?
A) I would have to say Sean Silveira or JP O’Brien those will entertain me for hours on end…haha
Q) Hotest chick in the FlowRider community?
A) I would have to say my Roomie Jessica Nichols!! She’s the tits
Q) Are you single?
A) I am single and ready to mingle…haha
Q) Where would you take a chick on a first date?
A) I would pick her up in my 97’ rolla then take her to T.G.I Fridays then maybe go to the movies. Not sure have only been on one date before..haha
Q) Worst FlowRider injury you have had?
A) I have dislocated a vertebra in my neck.
Q) Whats is Eric Silvermans perfect day?
A) I would probly say wake up in the morning go ride the barrel then get some Rubicon deli. Then go hit up the Vert Ramp and do some skating then rush on up to the mountains and hit the slopes.
Q) What is your food heavenn and food hell?
A) I love me some Nico’s taco shop. And I hate me some…Actually I don’t really know im not picky when it comes to food. I will just say brussel spouts
Q) FlowBoarding or SnowBoarding?
A) I am going to have to say Snowboarding - I love it!!! Can’t get enough of it I think it’s because I only do it for fun. Don’t get me wrong I love Flowboarding but every once I a while I just need a break from it and I could never get tired of Snowboarding.
Q) Who is your favourite FlowBoarder?
A) would have to say on the Flowbarrel Greg Laz. HE is the godfather of the sport and if it wasn’t for him teaching me in the beginning I would not have gotten where I am now! And He is still Killing it today he just took home the USA National strapless title!!! And on the Flowrider it would be none other than one of my best friends Sean SIlveira!!! The stuff he does is retarded!
Q) Who would you most like to compete against in the world finals?
A) I would love to compete with Laz, Wes Fischer, Clayton Barker, and Matt Lammers!
Q) Who do you think is going to the win the Worlds this yeat at The Wave House Mallorca?
A) I couldn’t tell yea I know a bunch of guys are hungry for that World Title. I am going to have to Say Laz!!!
Q) Will the rest of the world ever catch the USA FlowBoarding team?
A) I hope not…haha But yea I think they will South Africa is a tough team to beat I believe last year we only won be 100-200 points.
