Animal Sponsors 2011 European FLOW Championships Qualifier

On 10 September, 2011, UK freesport brand Aminal will sponsor the European FLOW (Flowboarding League of the World) Championships Qualifer at Flow House Bedford. This contest is set to be the most competitive to date as riders seek the opportunity to represent Europe at the FLOW Championships in Durban, South Africa in October this year.

Competing on a 9 metre wide, 30mph artificial wave, riders will be pushing the boundaries in this quickly growing sport of flowriding. With large influences from skateboarding and surfing, flowriding enables riders to do what they do best regardless of the weather, which has made this a truly accessible sport. With just themselves and the 42” board, the flowriding competition will find kick flips and grabs common place with individuals looking for fresh and innovating moves.

Riders across four categories will vie for their respective European titles in Expert Flowboard, Women’s Flowboard, Open Bodyboard and Junior Flowboard. With the most exciting prospects in the sport challenging one another under one roof, this FLOW Qualifier is expected to raise the profile of flowriding in Europe once more and set the bar for future competitions.

Once the new European Champions are crowned, an after party will kick into gear with DJs spinning on the decks and the bar open late.
