The World’s Most Popular Christian Rock Band Play to Sell Out Crowd

Wave House Durban hosted the Third Day concert on 5th November and it turned out to be one of the best shows the venue has ever witnessed. The night kicked off with Andrew Webster’s band turning up the heat and getting the crowd going. Next up Angus Buchan gave his inspirational and very vocal message to all in attendance and then the band that everyone had been waiting for took to the stage.
 
Third Day didn’t disappoint. They played all the favorites and being such a slick outfit sounded absolutely perfect. In no time they had the crowd jumping and singing along to every word of every song. All the guys in the band are incredibly talented and so cool and it’s easy to see why they have gathered such a massive following. Guitarist Mark Lee says “Our goal… is for these songs to hold out hope for people. Our desire is that people do relate to a lot of struggles that are in some of these songs, but at the same time find strength and find hope and encouragement.”

Big hits like “I got a feeling”, “Otherside” and “Revelation” were among the favorites that were belted out, but hits ranged from the new album to the old classics. The show was capped off with some awesome pyrotechnics that got the blood racing for the final encore. The words powerful and inspirational come to mind. Their stage presence and professionalism coupled with huge sound, awesome lighting and the perfect venue made this a show to remember.
