Young Gun Riders

What is a Young Gun?

Every day, young board sport athletes discover the insanity that emanates from the Wave Loch waves. From the FlowBarrel to the FlowRider, cut backs, airs and flips rage rampant across the globe at various Wave House, Flow House and FlowRider® locations. The youngest shredders of the bunch, that is riders 18 years of age or younger, are what we here at Wave House call the Young Guns.

These riders deserve international acclaim as some of them have yet to drive a car. They kick flip, ride switch and rock some of the most insane tricks you'll see in any board sport. Their home turf spans from San Diego to South Africa, Chile to Dubai and even as far as Singapore.

Trevor Rynberg
Trevor started Flowboarding when he was only in 8th grade. A San Diego local, he says it was love at first bail and he's been shredding ever since. Read More.

Son of the original flowboarder himself, Logan takes after his Dad, founder and CEO of Wave Loch Tom Lochtefeld, on the barrel. With a unique riding style and flare, this 17 year old La Jolla local shreds. Read More.

Scotty Fletcher
Scotty has been Flowboarding since before BMax opened in San Diego. With a distinctly witty charm and a riding style to match, this 17 year old rides big to say the least. Read More.

Max Sokolov
Max is a 12 year old young gun from Dubai. He's sponsored by O'Neil and Wild Wadi Dubai. He started riding in 2003 as a bodyboarder and then switched to stand up a few years later. Read More.

Trevor Karsten
Trevor is a 14 year old shredder from South Africa. He's been riding for more than half his lifetime and his future as a rider is bright to say the least. Read More.
