There are artists who live their lives learning how to perform and to interact with the crowd and then there is Johan Gielen. A natural born performer and as charismatic as his bright blonde hair, Johan is in a league of his own when it comes to showmanship. Not only does he captivate the crowd from the moment he enters the stage but his music selection and technically sounds mixing skills are second to none. There are a few select DJ's that carry the Superstar persona and Johan Gielen is included in this elite group.

Often referred to as one of the Dutch Ambassadors of dance by his fans, Johan is not only a worldwide performer but also an accomplished producer. His music is continually supported by every possible name in the industry, has countless remixes under his name and has worked with everyone from Boy George, Thrillseekers, Delerium and Tiësto.

He has had numerous Top 10 records around the globe in countries such as Germany, Austria, France, Switzerland, The UK and his native homeland, The Netherlands.

His debut artist album "Revelations" was released on Tiesto's Black Hole Recordings and captured the imagination of his fans worldwide. And with a new artist album in his sights along with a number of collaborations with a few of his A-List pals, we can only expect to see an upward rise to this Belgium born Dutchman.

Holland maybe Johan's home but the worldwide stage is where he lives, and this is clearly visible when his many passports look like a stamp collection and at any given time he has enough air miles to travel the world six times over.

Johan Gielen has repeatedly performed at almost every major dance music festival, rave and super club our planet has to offer. The long list includes Dance Valley, ID&T: Sensation White, Sunrise Festival, The Guvernment. Space, Godskitchen, and many more, and is the only artist to have performed 14 times at the prestigious Trance Energy.
